Lisa is also a graduate of the University of Rochester with a B.A. in Psychology.
Lisa's acupuncture mentors and teachers include Dr. Yiwen Su and Dr. Li Jin, Dr. Jianfeng Yang, Maureen McLaughlin, L.Ac. and Angela Hughes, L.Ac.
Treatment Style:
Lisa’s patient-centered approach focuses on assisting the body’s innate healing process, while educating clients and providing skills for them to actively strengthen and maintain their health.
Other Professional Interests and Training:
In addition to practicing acupuncture, Lisa has an interest in alternative medicine research. She works part-time at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center on a clinical research study investigating the beneficial effects of Tai Chi on Chronic Heart Failure. She was also an acupuncturist on an NIH (National Institutes of Health) funded clinical trial on Acupuncture and Irritable Bowel Syndrome conducted by Harvard Medical School.
Lisa is currently enrolled in a 2 year training program in luminous healing and energy medicine with The Four Winds Society.
