Lisa is also a graduate of the University of Rochester with a B.A. in Psychology.
Treatment Style:
Lisa’s patient-centered approach focuses on assisting the body’s innate healing process, while educating clients and providing skills for them to actively strengthen and maintain their health.
Other Professional Interests and Training:
Lisa has worked at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center as a research acupuncturist and research coordinator on NIH (National Institutes of Health) acupuncture and alternative medicine research studies. The studies investigated Acupuncture for Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Tai Chi for Chronic Heart Failure.
Prior to studying acupuncture, Lisa worked in the human services field, offering mental health and social services at United Cerebral Palsy Association and The Center for Mental Health.
Lisa is certified as a Master Practitioner in Energy Medicine. She studied with Alberto Villoldo and Linda Fitch at the Four Winds Society, and is a graduate of their "Healing The Light Body" Energy Medicine program.

Lisa is has completed Reiki 2nd Degree Training in the Usui system of Reiki healing with Richard Curtin of the Cambridge Center for Change.
