How Often To Have Energy Work
After a session it can take up to 2-3 weeks for the energy body to adjust to the treatment. Generally it is not recommended to have energy work more frequently than every other week. As we work together I will let you know what I think is the best timing for your sessions.
How Do I Know If Energy Work Is Right For Me?
Many people come to my office first for acupuncture. As some people begin to work on their health issues with acupuncture, they seek healing on different levels. I am happy to offer the energy work to those who are open to it and when I feel that it can be helpful.
At times I may recommend that you start acupuncture treatment first, especially if there are a lot of physical health issues that you would like to address. Acupuncture is a form of energy work that can begin to prepare the energy body to hold the changes that can happen with this deeper energy work.
Preparing for an energy session
Before your first session, I recommend that you take some time to consider the following questions. You may want to sit down and write what comes to you, or just allow the thoughts and information to flow. Information may come in physical sensations, images, thoughts, feelings, sounds or words. Without judgment allow the information to come.
What is the issue that you would like to focus on?
When does this issue come up in your life?
Does this issue feel familiar or remind you of past experiences or feelings?
What do you feel in your body when you think or talk about it?
How does this issue serve or benefit you now, or in the past?
How does this issue limit you or hold you back?
What gets in the way of resolving this issue?
What would your life be like if you didn't struggle with this issue?
Please call or email to discuss your situation and I will let you know how I think I can assist you.
***Please note that energy work is not intended to diagnose or cure any illness, and is not a substitute for other medical or professional treatment.
